I am an early-career public health researcher and Assistant Lecturer with over five years of teaching and applied research experience. My pursuits are grounded in my commitment to addressing persistent inequities in equitable access to healthcare particularly among marginalized populations. Through my prior research and implementation work in Northern Uganda, I have identified critical gaps in community engagement for underserved populations. My current work focuses on advancing the design, implementation, and evaluation of scalable, community-based interventions to strengthen health systems and improve population health outcomes.

A Public Health Specialist, Clinician, and University Lecturer with 19 years of professional experience in Uganda’s health sector, covering clinical practice, public health programming, and higher education teaching. I have a strong interest and growing track record in university teaching, student assessment, and academic mentorship, supported by formal training in Medical Education and extensive field experience.
Since June 2025, I have been serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Public Health at Lira University, where I teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, assess students, support academic mentorship, and participate in curriculum development and other faculty academic activities. My teaching emphasizes clear conceptual understanding, practical application of public health principles, and learner-centred approaches, drawing on real clinical and health systems experience.
Alongside my academic experience, I have over 13 years of experience in the leadership and implementation of USAID/PEPFAR-funded HIV and TB programmes, as well as five years of frontline clinical service within district local governments. This background enables me to link theory with practice in the classroom and to prepare students for real-world public health and clinical work.
