Biography
Dr. Edward Kumakech (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Lira University, Uganda. He obtained her Ph.D. in Sexual Reproductive and Women’s Health in 2016 from Orebro University, Sweden. He received his Masters of Public Health degree in 2007 from Lund University Sweden. He also received a Master of Nursing Science degree in 2005 from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. Prof. Kumakech received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2001 from Makerere University, Uganda. His research interest is in HIV and Human Papillomavirus (HPV), their preventions and linkage to Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, Women’s Health and Mental Health outcomes. Prof. Kumakech joined Lira University in July 2017.
