BIOGRAPHY:
Ritah Bakesiima is a senior lecturer and head of the department of Health Policy, Planning, and Management at the Faculty of Public Health, Lira University. She obtained her PhD in Reproductive Health in 2022 from Makerere University, Uganda and Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. She also received her master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2018 from Makerere University. Her main research interests are in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Adolescent Health, and Non-Communicable Diseases. Ritah joined Lira University in June 2022.
