Bachelor of Education – External (Primary)
The Bachelor of Education – External (Primary) program offered by Lira University is designed to provide aspiring teachers with a comprehensive education in primary education. This program is specifically designed for individuals who are unable to attend traditional on-campus classes due to various reasons, such as work or personal commitments.
The program follows a flexible external learning model, allowing students to study and complete coursework remotely, at their own pace and convenience. This flexibility enables students to balance their academic pursuits with other responsibilities they may have.
Throughout the program, students will acquire a deep understanding of pedagogical theories, teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and assessment strategies specifically tailored for primary education. They will also develop strong content knowledge in subjects such as mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, and physical education, among others.
Lira University ensures that the Bachelor of Education – External (Primary) program maintains the same rigor and quality as its on-campus counterpart. The curriculum is designed to meet national and international educational standards, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to excel in their teaching careers.
In addition to theoretical coursework, the program may also include practical components, such as supervised teaching practice or fieldwork. These opportunities allow students to gain valuable hands-on experience in real classroom settings, applying their knowledge and honing their teaching skills.
Throughout their studies, students in the program are supported by experienced and qualified faculty members who provide guidance and mentorship. They may also have access to online resources, discussion forums, and virtual classrooms to facilitate interaction and collaboration with fellow students and faculty.
Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Education – External (Primary) program, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to become effective primary school teachers.
