A Regional First with Global Significance
This three-day gathering is the first of its kind in Northern Uganda and will highlight how education, research, and clinical innovation can transform SRHR outcomes across Africa. The program will feature:
- Keynote addresses from leading African and international SRHR advocates and experts
- Panel discussions on the role of universities, research institutions, and health systems in advancing reproductive rights and services
- Scientific presentations and poster sessions showcasing new evidence on family planning, safe abortion care, maternal health, and adolescent SRHR
- Networking opportunities for policymakers, academics, clinicians, and civil society leaders to strengthen collaboration
Why It Matters
Sub-Saharan Africa faces persistent barriers to SRHR, from limited access to services to gaps in provider training. By bringing together educators, researchers, clinicians, and policymakers, the conference aims to accelerate the translation of scientific evidence into frontline care, safeguard reproductive rights, and strengthen health systems for future generations.
