The Lira University Deputy Vice Chancellor, Assoc. Prof. Okaka Opio Dokotum has every reason to smile as he drives a brand new Toyota Fortuner office vehicle, costing shs270 Million.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jasper Ogwal Okeng handed over the 7-seater world performance car to the DVC at a brief ceremony at the Main Campus on 4th June 2023.
Prof. Ogwal Okeng noted that the Toyota Fortuner car (SUV) is a thrilling vehicle, available with Automatic & Manual transmission. He added that Lira University is set to thrive to the highest heights amidst challenges.
“Official and planned travelling is one of our key priorities, staff have to move as we undertake implementation of planned activities, therefore use of vehicles is important,” he asserts.
The Fortuner is a 7 seater 4-cylinder car with some key features including Power Steering, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Braking System, Air Conditioner, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag Fog, Alloy lights and Multi-Function Steering Wheels.
