Lira University defeated Makerere University Business School (MUBS) 2 goals to 1 at home in the University Football League.
Lira University Football Team took on MUBS in the exciting University football match on Wednesday 11th March 2026. The League is supported by the Pepsi.
Lira University’s Kihumuro Huzaifah and Okeng Emmanuel scored the two goals while Katete Brian scooped a goal for MUBS.
The presence and support of staff and students of Lira University greatly motivated players as they(players) represented the University with pride and determination.
They ululated and cheered the LU team and created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere during the match held at the Lira University New football pitch between Faculty of Education and Administration block
