The enthusiastic mothers and children started arriving at Lira University Teaching Hospital, two days before the launch date of the Maternal and Child Health Camp set for 15th October 2025.

The Management of the Medical Camp is well prepared with tents erected on the compounds of the Nursing and Midwifery Faculty, where patients are being received and registered for treatment.

Several dignitaries including Lira City Council Mayor will attend the launch and closing ceremonies on Wednesday and Friday respectively.
