Uganda National Meteorological Authority and Lira University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 25th of October, 2018 to establish a 25 meters weather radar at Lira University to serve Northern and North-Eastern Uganda.
On 25th January, 2019, UNMA revisited Lira University to survey the meteorology site and later on, they attended a pre-bid meeting.
