Main Objectives
- Become an excellent center for undergraduate and postgraduate training for healthcare workers.
- Provide specialised medical services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Surgery, Paediatrics and Child Health; and Internal Medicine. The hospital will develop highly specialised services in Reproductive medicine (Assisted Reproductive Technology), Urogynaecology, Urology, Cardiology, Orthopedic, Surgery, Neurosurgery, etc.
- Become a centre for outstanding high quality clinical research. To achieve these targets the hospital runs general outpatient services on; Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Saturday, the general outpatient services run from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The hospiotal has a 24 hours’ Accident and Emergency Unit to handle emergencies daily.
