Security on campus is coordinated by the University Security Section. The University security section offers a support function that those core activities are carried out in a safe and secure environment. The University strives to ensure that the learning environment is safe. However, individuals ranging from students, staff and other stakeholders must ensure maximum personal security of self and property.

General Security Tips

• Your security is your priority. We encourage all students to be security conscious.
• Always carry your Identification (ID) card
• Don’t carry all your original documents wherever you go. Move with some photocopies.
• If you lose your documents, report to the Dean of students to get a letter to take to Police.
• Be conscious when moving at night. Avoid it whenever possible.
