Daisy is a lecturer and researcher at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences(SUAS) in Austria. He is an expert in mechanical behaviour of materials and has a particular interest in organic materials processing. She was at Lira University in February 2024 and February 2025 as a researcher on an inter-institutional Luffa (natural sponge) project involving SCIAD at NU. The project is about transforming the traditional use of Luffa as a bathing sponge and explore its potential in creating functional objects that can generate income for farmers, traders, and artisans. She facilitated a workshop with SCIAD students on Luffa transformation.
