Dr. Etengu Richard

Richard Etengu received the Diploma in Computer Science (first-class) and the B.S. degree (first-class honors) in Information Technology from Nkumba University, Uganda, in 2001 and 2003, respectively. He received the M.Sc. degree in Information Technology from Multimedia University, Malaysia in 2011. In 2024 he received a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Multimedia University, Malaysia. Since 2025, he has been with the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences, Lira University, Uganda. His research interests include communication networks, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), network security, public critical infrastructure protection, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and quantum optical communication.
