Launch of Lira University Covid-19 Task Force

The Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng visited Lira University on a courtesy call to launch Lira University Covid-19 Task Force and the plan for management of Covid-19.

The Vice Chancellor-Lira University, Prof. Jasper Ogwal Okeng, a team from Seed Global Health led by the Country Director of Seed Global Health, Dr. Ahimbisibwe Bournaventure, and the University Covid-19 Task Force were in attendance.

Seed Global Health donated simmulators and maniques to the University during the launch ceremony to support teaching at the Department of Midwifery.

The simmulators were handed over to the skill labaratory.
