President Museveni to grace Lira University’s 8th Graduation Ceremony, number of this year’s graduands to double those in 2025.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to grace the 8th Graduation Ceremony of Lira University.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jasper Ogwal Okeng has invited the president to officiate at the academic event slated for 20th November 2026, with 892 graduands, compared to 456, in 2025, anticipated to receive their degrees in various fields.

As the Visitor of the University, Prof. Ogwal Okeng said, the President’s presence at the occasion will be an inspiration to the University and the community of Lango sub-region as a whole.
