Brenda Ninsiima

Ms. Ninsiima Brenda is a Lecturer and Head of Department of Nursing in the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at Lira University, and a trained Critical Care Nurse. She has a strong professional and academic interest in infection prevention and control (IPC), vaccines, disease surveillance, preparedness and response to infectious diseases, and health systems strengthening.

She is actively engaged in training, mentorship, and capacity building of nursing students and health professionals. Her work focuses on promoting evidence-based practice and strengthening health systems to improve the quality and safety of patient care, particularly in low-resource settings.

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management,  (2016) – Kabale University
  • Bachelor of Nursing Science,  (2016) – Uganda Christian University
