Lira University has set 20th November 2026 for the 8th Graduation Ceremony, as several guests and bigwigs expected to attend.
The Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs (DVC-AA), Assoc. Prof. Judith Akello Abal noted that with the steadfast growth of the University, the number of students graduating yearly will continue to rise. She was chairing the 31st Awards, Ceremonies and Convocation Committee meeting on 25th August 2026, in the Faculty of Public Health Boardroom.
Celebrating the University’s big leap, Prof. Akello Abal said, the event will be graced by several invited guests from across the country. She asserted that organizing student graduations on time brings prompt career entry, ensuring seamless university operations.
The Committee also approved the Graduation Programme and the public announcement contents to guide the prospective graduands as they are expected to clear with the relevant offices of the University by Monday 9th November, 2026. See the attached, downloadable Announcement.
