Caroline Nabasirye is certified nurse- midwife with a master’s degree in midwifery and women’ s health. She is also a trainer in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and has a passion for sexual reproductive health and rights for young women. After completing her master’s degree in midwifery and women’s health, she joined Lira University as a lecturer, researcher and trainer of students in classroom and clinical settings.
Carol has participated in curriculum development and reviews, research supervision for graduate students, mentorship of midwives at different health care levels and currently as a project administrator for DINU -CHASE project which is confounded by the European Union. She is committed to better health and respectful maternity care for all young women.
She is a wife, mother and mentor who believes in life-long learning.
